This election is shaping up to be a turning point in Australia's history. This could put the Greens in the balance of power, where we will negotiate to deliver things like real action on climate change, bringing dental and mental health into Medicare, and building affordable homes to combat the housing crisis.
Your vote this election is incredibly powerful.
This page will be regularly updated as we get closer to the election and more information is released by the Australian Electoral Commission.
The election will be held on May 3 2025.

Postal voting
If you wish to postal vote, you will need to apply for one through the Australian Electoral Commission website. This is a relatively easy process, and you can find more information and access the application form here. A physical ballot will then be sent to your address and you will need to post it back before polling day. The AEC cannot send postal votes before Friday, 11 April.
If you are registered as a general postal voter you will automatically receive a postal vote pack in the mail, you do not need to re-apply for a postal vote.
If you cannot apply online, use the printable form and email to [email protected] or see the back of the form for instructions on how to post it back to the AEC. My team can also assist if you need help with applying.
Your postal vote must be completed on or before election day. You must return your ballot papers no later than 13 days after the election.
Overseas voting
If you’re travelling overseas during the election period, you can either apply for a postal vote or find your nearest overseas voting location here.
Accessible voting
If voting in person is difficult for you or you need special arrangements, you can register for Telephone Voting. You may also be eligible to access mobile voting locations. Find more information here.
